Use instant payouts to access your payouts quicker.

With instant payouts, eligible sellers can transfer funds into their linked bank account, and receive it typically within 30 minutes, for a small service fee.

Instant payouts are currently only available to existing Squarespace Payments sellers located in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe, subject to eligibility. If you are new to Squarespace Payments, you may become eligible after establishing a transaction and processing history.

Start an instant payout

1. If you’re eligible, go to your Finance dashboard, then click Get instant payout.
2. Enter the payout amount. It will default to the full amount available, but you can change it to a lower amount if you want.
3. Click Send Payout Now.

How it works

If you're eligible for instant payouts, a Get Instant Payout button will appear in the top-right corner of your Finance dashboard. You can also view funds that are available for instant payouts under your account balance.

Funds typically arrive within 30 minutes, with some payouts taking longer. If you didn't initiate an instant payout, or an instant payout fails, your funds will still be paid out according to your usual payout schedule at no additional cost.

Instant payout button availability

If the Get Instant Payout button is:

• Available to click: You have funds available for instant payout.
• Grayed out: No funds are currently available for instant payout.
• Not on your dashboard: You’re not eligible for instant payouts at this time. 

Service fee

There's a service fee for instant payouts of 1.5% of the payout amount, subject to a minimum fee depending on your location. This fee is applied on top of your instant payout amount and taken from your account balance.

The minimum fee amount is based on your location:

• For EU: €0.50 minimum
• For UK: £0.40 minimum
• For US: $0.50 minimum

Limits

You can't receive an instant payout if you have already paid out your available funds. Each Squarespace site has its own daily, weekly, and monthly instant payout limits. Limits are determined on a per-site basis, based on processing volume, history, and other risk indicators.

Eligibility

Instant payouts are currently only available to existing Squarespace Payments sellers located in the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe. Eligibility is also based on factors such as:

• Processing history
• Processing volume
• Chargeback and refund history
• Other risk indicators
• Bank eligibility 

Bank eligibility

To receive Instant Payouts, you need to connect a supported bank. 

• For EU: All banks in the European Union should accept Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) Instant Payments. If you can’t use Instant Payouts, contact your bank. To learn more, review the European payments council site.
• For UK: Only accounts at UK institutions that use the Faster Payments Service can receive Instant Payouts. To check if your institution uses Faster Payments, use the Pay.UK sort code checker.
• For US: Squarespace Payments distributes Instant Payouts on the Real Time Payments network. To see if your institution is in this network, review this bank list.    

Reminder email

If you have Payment Manager permissions, you can request a one-time reminder email the next time you have funds available for an Instant Payout. Reminder emails are sent to the email address on your Squarespace Payments account.

1. From your Finance dashboard, click View details under Account Balance.
2. A side panel opens showing the account balance details. From there, click Get Instant Payout Reminder. 

Once complete, the button will read Email Reminder Activated. If you have problems setting up your instant payout reminder, refresh the page and try again.
